Homeschool

                            Home School
Over the past three or four weeks, Nz has been in lock down due to Covid 19 and everyone has to do online learning or work from books. I have been doing alot of book work and reading. I have also have been playing outside alot. Playing soccer with my brother and learning how to fly my dads drone and how to take pictures with the drones camera. It was really awesome. I have also been doing baking and cooking. Just the other day i made lunch for me and my brother and mum. And the other week my guinea pigs had babies and i have been spending lots of time with them and the other guinea pigs. Over the last year, i have had 14 guinea pigs and seven have passed away or gone missing and i have seven left. I have made a couple of hiding spots for the guinea pigs to hide and play in. Over all, i really enjoy staying home with my family and pets and i cant wait to go any where else except from home!

Here are some pictures of me and my guinea pigs.
This is Taco I also have 6 more.

  1. Kia ora Eden,

What an interesting time you have been having at home. I like that you explained why you are home schooling, that will be great to have this record in the future.

It sounds interesting. What kind of drone does your Dad have and what kind of things have you been taking photos off?

Your guinea pigs look really cute. How exciting to have babies born while you are home, you don't have to worry about being away from them, and you can watch them grow.

Taco is a cool name. We had guinea pigs for a while. I wanted to call them Yum Yum and Chop Chop but I was voted out. How do you come up with the names for so many animals?

    Thanks for sharing,

  2. Hey Eden, I'm really liking home schooling too, I like how I can do my work when I want to. Maybe schools should give kids options to come to school sometimes and learn from home on other days. What do you think?

    1. Hi Mr Redmond i think that it would be a good idea to do that so if kids and their parents are having hard times or sick or something they could still do work at home with out having to be at school.

  3. How wonderful that you could be at home to spend time with your guinea pig babies! The blog challenge today is about using our recycling boxes to create something new and one of the options is to make a cat house. Maybe you could design and create something for your guinea pigs? https://tangaroarawhiti.blogspot.com/2020/04/box-building-wednesdays-blog-challenge.html

  4. Wow! Eden you’re certainly having a busy time. You must be kept busy with all those guinea pigs. There’s a lot of work for you cleaning out their cages.
It’s good to hear your enjoying your online work and great that you’ve been reading well done. Have you read anything that you would recommend to anyone?

  5. Hi Eden, gee that is a lot of guinea pigs, where do they all live? Are you the one who looks after them? It sounds like your bubble days have been lots of fun. What exciting food did you make for lunch for your Mum and brother?
